Magizh’s next is with Udhayanidhi

Magizh Thirumeni, who has turned actor, and is shooting for Vijay Sethupathi’s film with debutant Venkata Krishna Roganth, referred to as #VSP33, has firmed up his next directorial. We hear he has roped in Udhayanidhi Stalin to play the lead in it.
The director, whose crime thriller Thadam became a sleeper hit earlier this year, is currently busy with the pre-production work of this film.
A source tells us, “Magizh had zeroed in on this project with Udhayanidhi even before the release of Thadam. He is now finalising the cast and crew of the film. This will be another highly engaging film like Thadam.”
Udhayanidhi is currently part of three films — Mysskin’s Psycho, KS Adhiyaman’s Angel and Kannai Nambathey, directed by Mu Maran.
