In a petition filed by 'Corona Kumar' makers in the Madras High Court, it is mentioned that actor Silambarasan had signed a contract to act in the film 'Corona Kumar', which was planned to be produced by their company.
Silambarasan was locked in for a total of Rs 9.5 crore for acting in this film, and Rs 4.5 crore has been paid as an advance. It is reported that this advance was given last year, in 2021. But it is also alleged that actor Silambarasan did not come to the shoot after receiving the money. In this situation, there was a demand to ban actor Silambarasan from acting in other films as he was acting in other films without completing the film 'Corona Kumar'. While the petition came up for hearing yesterday (August 29) before Justice Abdul Qudoos, the contract signed between actor Silambarasan and 'Corona Kumar' makers regarding the matter was submitted.
In the petition filed on behalf of actor Silambarasan, it was mentioned that only one crore rupees was given to Silambarasan. But the makers claimed that they had paid Rs 4.5 crores to Silambarasan and had also submitted the budget details, and the specified amount was given in cash. Refusing to accept this, the judge ordered Silambarasan to furnish a surety of one crore rupees as per the contract before the next hearing on September 19.
