Finally, Madhavan has made his debut as a director with ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect'. which was released in theatres today, July 1. There were high expectations for the movie as it is the biopic of the former ISRO scientist and aerospace engineer Nambi Narayanan.
The theatres saw a good turnout on day 1 of the movie's release and it has received good praise from audiences. Fans also praised Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya’s cameo roles in the movie. The film starred Madhavan and Simran in the lead roles.
Taking to Twitter, audiences stated they were happy to see Shah Rukh Khan on the bigger scene after a few years and a few said that Suriya’s cameo role was as good as it was in Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram’.
‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ is a movie based on the real-life story of Nambi Narayanan who was wrongly accused of selling aerospace secrets to Russia while working in the Indian Space Research Organisation. The story revolves around Madhavan, who plays the role of Nambi Narayanan trying to prove through his life that he is not a traitor.
