Dhanush’s gangster drama ‘
Vada Chennai
’ that released on October 17 has gone on to become a blockbuster. The film seems to span across several years and tracks the story of a carrom board player-turned-gangster Anbu (Dhanush). The movie highlights the lives of people in North Chennai, especially the fisher-folk.
However, a scene in the film has not gone down well with them. The love-making scene between
Ameer and
Andrea
in a boat in the middle of the ocean, has irked the people belonging to the community. They have apparently said that boats and catamarans are sacred to them and the scene had hurt their sentiments.
Now the production has removed the scene and two other scenes of Ameer & Andrea have been added & the issue has been amicably settled.
Made on a big budget by Wunderbar Films, the film has an ensemble cast including Aishwarya Rajesh, Andrea Jeremiah, Kishore, Ameer, Samuthirakani and Daniel Balaji in important roles.
