Lokesh Kanagaraj's next to be an intense action film

While an official announcement is yet to made, it most likely that director Lokesh Kanagaraj's next film is with Thalapathy Vijay, which is tentatively referred to as 'Thalapathy 67'. It is known that the director had narrated a very interesting line during the shooting of 'Master' itself and has now developed it fully as a story. With the success of his recent release 'Vikram' starring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil, the expectations for Lokesh Kanagaraj's next film is sky high.

Without confirming that his next film is with actor Vijay, Lokesh Kanagaraj has revealed that his next film will an rooted intense action film. The story for the film is said to be an old script that he had written long back, but is now rewriting it. He also confirmed that he would most likely be working with the same technical crew he has been working with.

On the other hand, actor Vijay is currently working on 'Thalapathy 66' with Vamshi Paidipally, which is expected to hit the big screens in January 2023. The announcement for 'Thalapathy 67' is expected to be made any time soon. The movie is expected to go on grounds at the end of 2022.
