Director Lingusamy’s last directorial venture was a sequel to Sandakozhi with Vishal in the lead. The film had Rajkiran, Keerthy Suresh and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. However, it turned out to be a damp squib at the box office. Now the latest news is that

is gearing up to direct a Tamil-Telugu bilingual with actor Havish in the lead. He was recently seen in

Seven

, a Tamil-Telugu thriller, which also had Regina Cassandra and Nandita Swetha as the leading ladies.

It is said that the movie will go on floors in August and it will be a high-octane action entertainer. Earlier, Lingusamy had announced a Tamil-Telugu bilingual with Allu Arjun but it did not materialize.
