VFX supervisor Mangesh Awate, speaking to The Indian Express, shared his experience working with Vijay for the film. He said that Vijay is a gem of a person, and to work with him was extraordinary. He said that Vijay performed all his stunts and added that, no matter how many retakes were required to be played by him for the Hyena scene, he effortlessly redid it. The VFX technician revealed that the film did not use an animal; it was just another man dressed in a green costume, and as the action was intense, there were a number of retakes. He said that Vijay was very cooperative and said that he did not mind doing the scene again and again until the VFX technicians were happy.

He also revealed that when Vijay met the team later in the second schedule of the film, he inquired how the work for the Hyena scenes was shaping up and even humorously told them that he had done his part right and it's up to them to make the Hyena act up to his level.

On the work front, Vijay is now shooting for his next 'GOAT' with Venkat Prabhu, and the film is set for its release in theaters on September 5.
