Following the blockbuster success of 'Thuppakki', Vijay joined hands with director AR Murugadoss for the second time for 'Kaththi'. The title of the film was launched with a motion poster exactly at 12 AM on Vijay's birthday in 2014. The superb motion poster set a new trend in Tamil cinema, and it is also one of the best motion posters in Tamil. Anirudh Ravichander excited the fans, and the video was well enjoyed by fans.

After the success of 'Nerkonda Paarvai', Ajith reunited with director H Vinoth for 'Valimai'. Kamal Haasan joined hands with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for 'Vikram' and the union of the legendary actor with his ardent fan stirred expectations. Vijay reunited with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for his 67th film and the reunion of the 'Master' duo tentatively titled 'Thalapathy 67' to launch the film officially. But the makers didn't take a long time to reveal the title, and they unveiled an impressive promo to announce the film's title. 'Thalapathy 67' has been titled 'Leo' and the title teaser mounted the expectations for the film. Vijay looks calm and composed in the title teaser, while the film is slated to release on 19.10.2023 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada languages.
