Lekha Washington signs a romcom

She was last seen in Pushkar-Gayathri���s Va. And despite working in a couple of films in Kannada, Telugu and Hindi, Lekha Washington was missing in action in Kollywood. However, the girl has now signed on to be part of a romcom, Kalyana Samayal Saadham.
Directed by debutant RS Prasanna, the film has Prasanna and Lekha paired opposite each other. While Vedanth Bharadwaj and Karthick will compose the tunes for the film, Krishnan Vasant will handle the cinematography.
Director Arun Vaidhyanathan (of Achchamundu! Achchamundu! fame), who is producing this film, says, ���We launched the film a few days ago. It will be a downright hilarious one, and the shooting is scheduled to begin soon in Singara Chennai.���
