Lawrence in Shivalinga remake?

There were unconfirmed reports about Rajinikanth starring in the remake of the Kannada film Shivalinga, which hit the screens a month ago. The fact that the Superstar had watched the film and appreciated it, only added fuel to the fire. However, it is now learnt that Lawrence has been approached to play the lead in the Tamil remake of Shivalinga.
A source says, ���It is true that the actor-filmmaker has been considered to star in the Tamil remake of this horror film to play the character essayed by Shivarajkumar in the original.Lawrence has watched the original and is keen on doing it. P Vasu, who directed the Kannada version, is currently in London, and it is only after his return that a final call will be made on the project.��� Though there have been speculations of Anushka Shetty playing the heroine in the remake (essayed by Vedhika in the original) the source denies it, saying that the heroine is yet to be decided.
