Lal Salaam box office collection day 8: Rajinikanth starrer inches towards its demise, earns just Rs 0.27 crore

Director Aishwarya Rajinikanth made a comeback after a hiatus of eight years with her latest film ‘Lal Salaam.’ The movie features superstar Rajinikanth in a special role. Actors Vishu Vishal and Vikranth play the leading roles as two cricket players in the sports drama. The movie has been in cinemas for 8 days now, however, it has not been able to hit the right chord with the audiences.

‘Lal Salaam’ had a theatrical release on February 9, earning Rs 3.55 crore at the box office. After the weekend, it faced a decline in its collection. According to Sacnilk, it could only collect Rs 0.27 crore on day 8. The total amount ‘Lal Salaam’ could earn in India is Rs 15.35 crore. On the same day, it had a Tamil occupancy rate of 17.34 percent and 10.63 percent for Telugu.

The movie also features Senthil, Jeevitha, KS Ravikumar, Thambi Ramaiah, and Vivek Prasanna in significant roles. The music is composed by AR Rahman, while Vishnu Rangasamy takes care of the cinematography.
