Lal Salaam box office collection day 5: Rajinikanth starrer mints Rs 12 crore in India

Aishwarya Rajinikanth made her comeback to the industry with her recent directorial 'Lal Salaam', starring superstar Rajinikanth. The sports drama opened to a lot of honest reviews and started performing well at the box office, earning Rs 3.55 crore on the first day of its release. After a decent performance in cinemas over the opening weekend, the film started struggling on the weekdays with numbers declining.

According to sacnilk, Lal Salaam collected Rs 1.24 crore on the fourth day of its release. On the fifth day of its release, the movie could collect only Rs 1.16 crore in total in India. As of now, the total earnings of 'Lal Salaam' in India is Rs 12.35 crore. On the fifth day, it had 14.75% Tamil occupancy and 16.82% Telugu occupancy.
