Dhanush and Rajisha Vijayan.
She announced this good news on Pongal festival in her twitter account where she wrote, “On this auspicious தை திருநாள் I am very happy to announce that I have joined the sets of #D41 #Karnan directed by the brilliant @mari_selvaraj sir. Very happy and excited to work with this amazing cast & crew. Shoot in progress! அனைவருக்கும் என் இனிய பொங்கல் நல்வாழ்த்துக்கள் �� .”
The film has Yogi Babu playing an important role and most importantly Malayalam actor and director Lal is also playing one of the leads in the film. The movie is being produced by Kalaippuli S. Thanu under the banner V Creations, who had previously bankrolled Dhanush’s Asuran which came rounds in the box office and the movie recently crossed 100 days.
While, Dhanush’s pongal release pattas is doing extremely well, Karnan’s shooting has already begun in Tirunelveli.
