Earlier in August, producer KT Kunjumon's 'Gentleman 2' to be directed by A Gokul Krishna, former associate of Vishnu Vardhan, was launched with an official pooja. Now, the team has begun shooting for the film yesterday with a pooja, which was inaugurated by Broadcasting Minister Swaminathan in the presence of Vairamuthu.
Sharing pictures from pooja ceremony, KT Kunjamon wrote, "My sincere gratitude to Honourable Minister of Information and Publicity of Tamil Nadu Thiru. @mp_saminathan for inaugurated the Shooting of Our Mega movie #Gentleman2 today in the presence of 'Kavi perarasu' @Vairamuthu"
The film stars actor Chethan Cheenu of 'Naan Sigappu Manithan' fame in Tamil along with Mollywood actress Nayanthara Chakravarthy and Priya Lal in the lead roles. The movie will be dubbed in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada has music by MM Keeravani, who has also worked for biggies like 'Baahubali' and 'RRR'.
The technical team also includes Ajayan Vincent handling the camera with Thotta Tharani handling the art direction. With the shooting of the film having commenced, the team is planning a 2024 release.
