Notably, ‘Devi’, which released in 2016, received positive response and became a hit at the box office. The film, which was simultaneously released in Hindi as ‘Tutak Tutak Tutiya’, was praised for its comical portions.
Last seen in the dance-drama ‘Lakshmi’, Prabhudeva will be playing the lead role in ‘Charlie Chaplin 2’, which is expected to release sometime later this year. On the other hand, Prabhudheva is shooting for the cop-thriller ‘Pon Manickavel’, which is being directed by AC Mugil.
