Popular comedian and supporting actor
Nellai Siva passed away yesterday evening at his residence in Tirunelveli. He was 69 and suffering from age-related ailments. He died of a heart attack at home in his hometown of Panakudi in Tirunelveli district.
The entire Tamil film fraternity in shock and expressed their heartfelt condolences through their social networking pages.
The Tamil film industry has been mourning a lot during the last few months with the demise of many k-town celebrities either due to COVID complications or age related ailments.
Actor Krishna posted, "One of the nicest actors I had the privilege to work with. He always telling us jokes and entertaining the crew. May his soul rest in peace ayya." (sic)

The popular comedian made his on screen debut in 1985 with the Pandiarajan directorial 'Aan Paavam'. He appeared in films like 'Mahaprabhu', 'Vetri Kodi Kattu' and 'Kannum Kannum' among monay other and is popular for his Nellai slang.
