'KHxRK' team proves promo is live-action; Confirms no AI involvement; Releases BTS from Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth starrer

Superstar icons Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are reuniting on the big screen after more than forty years in the much-anticipated film tentatively titled KHxRK. The project has already generated a wave of excitement across the industry. Its official promo further intensified the hype, but it also triggered an unexpected debate about whether artificial intelligence had been used to create the models shown in the video.

Makers release BTS video to end AI speculation

The makers shared a new behind-the-scenes video on social media which features director Nelson Dilipkumar supervising the shoot with the lead stars and composer Anirudh Ravichander. The footage clearly shows real actresses performing in the promo. This directly contradicts speculation that the women were AI-generated.



Earlier, several users had claimed that the actresses did not look real. But the BTS footage makes it evident that the promo was filmed using practical, on-set performances. The makers did not add any digital fabrication. The models in the clip were actual individuals working with the team.

The comments section filled up quickly after the post went live. One user wrote, "Who is that person who said those models were AI." Another added, "I am searching for the person who said it was all AI." A more passionate follower commented, "And this is called the Real Hard work, Dedication and Commitment AI may be nice but the Real is always permanent and it can be replaced!" Major star approached for guest role

While the AI debate settles another major update is fueling new excitement. Veteran actor Mammootty has reportedly been approached for a guest appearance in the film. According to a report shared by the Twitter page Hey Opinions, the star is expected to play an “old gangster friend” of Kamal Haasan’s character.

The post stated: “Almost confirmed! #Mammootty will play a guest role in the #KHxRK movie as an old gangster friend of #KamalHaasan’s character.
