Ken Karunas is all set to play a young
Rajan in the 'Vada Chennai' prequel.
Vetri Maaran is one of the successful directors in Tamil cinema and had teamed up with
Dhanush for 'Vada Chennai', which was a critical hit. Now as per the latest report, Vetri Maaran has planned to film a story based on 'Vada Chennai Rajan's (
Ameer) character, and it's going to be his early life story.
Ken Karunas is reportedly signed to play Ameer's junior version in the film, which is expected to be titled as 'Rajan Vagairaa'. It is noteworthy that Ken Karunas earlier acted in Vetri Maaran's directorial 'Asuran', which also had Dhanush in the lead role. Ken Karunas played an innocent role as Dhanush's younger son, and he received good praise from the audience.
Vetri Maaran is currently binding up the work for
Soori and
Vijay Sethupathi starrer 'Viduthalai', and it will be the director's next release. The talented director will begin work for 'Vaadi Vaasal' with Suriya, and the film shooting is planned to kick start in October.
