Nivin Pauly are coming together for the ambitious project ‘
Kayamkulam Kochunni
’, which is one of the biggest releases this year in Malayalam.
Recently, the makers released the first look teaser that received a terrific response from the audience. According to reports, lyricist-writer
Madhan Karky will reportedly be penning the dialogues for the Tamil version, which has been titled ‘Malaikallan’.
Notably, it was Madhan Karky who wrote the dialogues for the Tamil versions of ‘
Baahubali’ and ‘Mahanati’. ‘Kayamkulam Kochunni’ is a period film which is being directed by Rosshan Andrews, who directed ‘How Old Are You?’. Set in the 19th century, ‘Kayamkulam Kochunni’ was widely known for his Robinhood kind of a character, who reportedly stole from the rich during the British rule. Nivin Pauly plays the titular role in the film.
Actress
Priya Anand will be seen in the role of the leading lady, while actors Priyanka Thimmesh,
Babu Antony,
Sunny Wayne, Manikandan R Achari and Thesni Khan will be seen in important roles. Reportedly, Mohanlal is playing a crucial role in the film. If reports are to be believed, the film is likely to release by the end of this year.
