The shooting of Lift was completed before the lockdown in March last year and the post-production work was also completed. Earlier in April, Libra Productions had grabbed the theatrical rights of the film. But with pandemic putting a halt on new releases in theatres there was a buzz that the film might take the

route, like most films have done during the lockdown.
