Katrina Kaif opposite Rajinikanth?

The Bollywood actress is said to be adjusting her dates to accommodate Kochadaiyan.
This may well be a casting coup of sorts ��� Katrina Kaif is the frontrunner to be paired opposite the Superstar in his forthcoming Kochadaiyan. Confirming the news, Soundarya Rajinikanth, the director of the project and the actor���s daughter, said, ���I met Katrina Kaif in person some time ago.She was very excited that it was a Rajinikanth film and sounded very upbeat and positive about it. However, we are still in the process of working out her dates as she���s busy with her other projects. Once that happens, we���ll get her on board.��� Katrina is currently busy with work on Ek Tha Tiger with Salman Khan and an untitled flick with Shah Rukh Khan and is said to be trying her best to accommodate dates for the Rajinikanth film. Kochadaiyan, which means ���the king with long hair���, is said to be planned on a grand scale with music none other than Oscar winner A R Rahman. It is said that the Superstar will play a king in the film who is an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva. The first look of the film is likely to be revealed later this month. The film will be shot using the motion capture technique. ���Katrina was very curious to know more about it and was fascinated by the concept,��� added Soundarya.
When contacted, K S Ravikumar, who will be overseeing the project, said, ���When we narrated the story, she liked it a lot. Shooting will commence in Chennai in the second week of February. The final leg of work will take place in London. We���ve already started getting down equipment from abroad for the shoot. A R Rahman will record the tunes by the end of this month.���
The Superstar���s last release was Endhiran in which he was paired opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. His Rana, which is currently on hold and will re-start later this year, saw him being paired opposite Deepika Padukone.
