It is known that actor Kathir will be playing the lead role opposite actress Divya Bharathi in the Tamil remake of Malayalam hit movie 'Ishq'. While the film is being directed by director Shiv Mohaa of Zero fame, the maker have revealed the first look poster and the title of the film. Interestingly, the makers have managed to get the title of Ajith Kumar's 1995 superhit film 'Aasai' as their film's title as well.
Actress Keerthy Suresh released the first look poster and title of the film today on the occasion of Kathir's birthday. The poster features the lead pair Kathir & Divya Bharathi just about to kiss each other. The film also has actress Poorna and Linga in important roles. The technical team includes music by Revaa, cinematography by Babu Kumar and editing by Sudharsan.
'Ishq' is a 2019 Malayalam romantic thriller starring Shane Nigam, Ann Sheetal, Shine Tom Chacko, and Leona Lishoy in main roles. The film was also remade in Telugu with the same title, but the remake didn't do as well as the original one. The makers have decided to go for the Tamil remake as they wish to take the film to a high-level audience, and they hope in the film's content.
