'Karuppu': Sshivada shares her dream-come-true moment; first single to release on Diwali

Actress Sshivada, who was introduced to fans through the Malayalam film 'Sumathi Valavu', recently rose to fame with the release of the film ''. In an interview, she shared her experience working with Suriya in the film 'Karuppu', which is directed by RJ Balaji.

Speaking to Cinema Vikatan, Sshivada said, "It has always been my dream to work with Suriya sir. That dream has now come true. Similarly, I got the opportunity to work with Trisha Madam. We saw them in a big theater, but meeting them in person was a special experience. The love and warm welcome they gave me was heartwarming," she said. Sshivada also added that she is very excited about the release of 'Karuppu' as fans are super excited for the upcoming film.

'Karuppu' first single gearing up for Diwali release

RJ Balaji recently announced that the first single from 'Karuppu' will be released before Diwali. It stars Trisha as the heroine, and this marks the actress's reunion with Suriya after 'Aaru' (2005). The supporting cast includes Yogi Babu, Malayalam actor Indran, Swasika, Natty, Supreeth Reddy, and Anagha Maya Ravi. On the technical side, music for 'Karuppu' is scored by Sai Abhyankar, cinematography by G.K. Vishnu, editing by Kalaivanan, art direction by Arun Venjaramudu, and stunt planning by Vikram More. Director RJ Balaji is said to be playing the villain to lock horns with Suriya, and the film is reported to be a fantasy drama.

Meanwhile, Sshivada's film 'Kayilan' stars Ramya Pandian, Anupama Kumar, Prajin, Abhishek Joseph George, and Gopinath in important roles. The film, which was released in theaters on October 10, is directed by Arul Ajith.
