'Karuppu' box office collection day 11: Suriya's fantasy actioner mints close to Rs 250 crore worldwide on Monday

Suriya’s fantasy drama ‘Karuppu’ has completed a successful 11-day run at the box office. On its second Monday, the movie earnings saw a dip, yet reached a milestone at the box office. In the domestic collection, it set a milestone by minting over Rs 150 crore net in just 11 days. Meanwhile, in the worldwide gross collection, the movie is closer to crossing the Rs 250 crore mark. Directed by RJ Balaji, the film recorded a strong run during the second weekend. According to sacnilk, on day 11, ‘Karuppu’ collected Rs 5.90 crore. Earned across 4,457 shows, the number represents a 60 % drop from Sunday's net collection of Rs 14.75 crore.

With Monday earnings, the gross collections of the movie in India reached Rs 179.15 crore, while the India net collections stand at Rs 154.75 crore so far.



Overseas, Rs 1 crore was added to the tally, pushing the gross to Rs 68 crore. This brings the worldwide gross collection of ‘Karuppu’ to Rs 247.15 crore.
