Aadhaar, the hard-hitting drama, starring Karunas,
Ineya

Riythvika,
Dileepan, and
Arun Pandian, has bee censored with a UA certificate, its makers have informed. The film is directed by
Ramnath Palanikumar, who has directed films like
Karunas's
Ambasamudram Ambani
and the Jiiva-Nayanthara-starrer
Thirunaal
.
The film has mainly five to six major characters. Riythvika and Karunas play a couple who works on a construction site. Ineya and Vathikuchi fame Dileepan play siblings. Ineya plays an accused from the slums, who is an auto driver. Her character has negative shades.
Srikanth Deva has done the music for the film, which has cinematography by Anjathey fame

"Aadhaar will be somewhat offbeat... more serious and more real. At the same time, it will also be very engaging for the audiences," the filmmaker, who has travelled with this story for four-and-a-half years, had told us earlier.
The film's music and trailer launch had happened recently in Chennai. The makers are planning to announce the release date of the film, which is intended to be a theatrical release, soon.
