Karthi’s next with Rakul Preet Singh titled ‘Dev’?

After the commercial success of the cop-drama ‘Theeran Adhigaram Ondru’, actors Karthi and Rakul Preet Singh are coming together for another Tamil film, which will be helmed by Rajat Ravi Shankar. While the shooting is expected to go on the floors later this year, an interesting news has cropped up.

Reports are doing the rounds that the film has been titled ‘Dev’. However, we await an official statement from the makers. Tipped to be a romantic-comedy, the film also stars Ramya Krishnan, Prakash Raj, Renuka and Karthik Muthuraman in pivotal roles.

, music composer Harris Jayaraj will handle the music department. If reports are to be believed, the film is likely to release by the end of this year.

On the work front, Karthi is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming rural entertainer ‘Kadai Kutty Singam’, which is being directed by Pandiraj. Produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainments, the film has Sayyeshaa of ‘Vanamagan’ fame playing the female lead. Also starring Priya Bhavani Shankar, Sathyaraj, Bhanupriya, Soori and Ponvannan in important roles, ‘Kadai Kutty Singam’ has music by D Imman and is likely to release this summer.
