Vikram' starring Kamal Haasan, the buzz about when he will start 'Kaithi 2' with actor Karthi has started to do the rounds. Now, producer
SR Prabhu has confirmed during a Twitter space interaction that 'Kaithi 2' in the works.
'Kaithi' starring Karthi, Narain and Arjun Das in the lead, was based on a prisoner on parole, who’s on his way to meet his daughter, who is enlisted by an injured police officer to protect a few cops. With the entire lot of gangsters in the place after them, can the prisoner save the day?
While it looks like the preproduction works for the sequel is going on, the first part gave away hints of what the sequel could be about. In 'Kaithi', actor Harish Uthaman plays Adaikalam who is in the prison and recognizes Dilli, played by Karthi. It is highly possible that that 'Kaithi 2' will be about what Dilli was doing before going to prison and what's the story between Adaikalam and Dilli.
