Actor Karthi’s upcoming film 'Japan' directed by Raju Murugan is gearing up for release for Diwali 2023. With only over a week left for the film's release, the Censor Board has cleared the film an U/A certificate.
The quirky actioner has Anu Emmanuel playing the female lead. Tollywood actor Sunil, who was seen in a cameo role in Rajinikanth's recently released 'Jailer' directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, will be playing an important role in the film.
The movie portrays Karthi in the titular role as a gold thief who becomes a big criminal after multiple heists. The movie is a crime comedy and it also KS Ravikumar and Vagai Chandrasekhar in important roles. Going by the trailer, Karthi impresses the audience with his exceptional style, swag, and charismatic mannerisms.
While GV Prakash is composing music for the film, the technical team includes editing by Philomin Raj and cinematography by Ravi Varman.
