Karthik Subbaraj wins Youth Icon award

Director Bramma���s Kuttram Kadithal, which is yet to hit screens, was chosen as the best film at the Chennai International Film Festival (CIFF 2014), which drew to a close on Christmas, while director Karthik Subbaraj received the Amitabh Bachchan Youth Icon award.
The young director, who was visibly happy on having been named a youth icon, took to social media to express his delight.On a social networking site, he said, ���Very happy to receive the Amitabh Bachchan - Youth Icon award in CIFF 2014.Thanks to the jury and a big thanks to my ?#?Pizza? and ?#?Jigarthanda? teams!!���
