Dhanush and Malavika Mohanan had joined the sets of the Karthick Naren film recently in Hyderabad and the team has begun filming their final schedule. While the shooting of the film has been progressing at a brisk pace, there reports doing the rounds that director
Karthick Narean
was not longer part of the project after he failed to show up at the shooting spot yesterday.
It was also being reported that actor Dhanush had taken over the direction of the film with director
Subramaniam Shiva assisting him. When we reached out to the team to confirm the same, the team has denied the reports and any such incident. They also confirmed that Karthick Narean is still the director of the film.
Director Karthick Narean had earlier roped in Malayalam screenwriting duo Sharfu and Suhas to work on the writing of the film. It is believed that Dhanush and Malavika are both playing journalists in this film, which is said to be an emotional action thriller. The film's cast also includes Mahendran, Samuthirakani,
Smruthi Venkat and Krishnakumar.
Produced by Sathya Jyothi films, the film has Malavika Mohan playing the female lead. The film is expected to be a thriller with music by GV Prakash. The multi-talented Dhanush will be penning the lyrics and crooning more than one song in the film.
