Karthi opens up on working with Suriya

Last seen in the blockbuster cop-thriller ‘Theeran Adhigaram Ondru’, Karthi is all set for his forthcoming rural entertainer ‘Kadai Kutty Singam’, which is releasing this Friday. Ahead of the release of the film, Karthi opened up on a possible collaboration with his brother and actor Suriya.

In a recent Facebook chat session with fans, Karthi was asked whether he would work with Suriya in a film. Replying to the question, Karthi said that director Pandiraj has promised that he would be writing a script for both Suriya and Karthi. The ‘Paruthiveeran’ star also revealed that he has plans of directing Suriya in the future. On the other hand, Karthi also had nice things to say about Vijay and Ajith Kumar.

Talking about Vijay, Karthi said that he knew him since his college days. Apparently, Vijay appreciated Karthi for ‘Theeran Adhigaram Ondru’. On Ajith, Karthi said that he shares a good rapport with the actor.

Interestingly, ‘Kadai Kutty Singam’ will see Suriya playing a cameo role. Produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainments, the film marks Karthi’s first association with Pandiraj. Touted to be a family-drama, the film also stars Sayyeshaa, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Sathyaraj, Bhanupriya, Soori and Ponvannan in important roles.
