Karthi offered Rs 14 crore?

The buzz in the industry is that actor Karthi has now joined the Rs 10-crore plus gang in K-Town.
Yes, we are talking about his pay cheque!A little birdie tells us that one of the top producers in the industry was wiling to cough up Rs 14 crore to rope in Karthi for his film.
A source tells us, "While Vikram, Suriya, Vijay and Ajith have been getting paid in the Rs 10- 18 crore bracket in that order, Arya was reportedly paid Rs 5 crore for his last Tamil film he signed on.And Karthi, who has mostly done movies under his cousin's home production and has gotten somewhere between Rs 8 and 10 crores, has now been offered 14 c! It's a feat of sorts, considering Karthi has done just six movies till date."
