Karthi confirms 'Kaithi 2' to begin in 2025

While actor Karthi is all excited for the release of his upcoming film 'Meiyazhagan', he has revealed that he will soon join hands with director Lokesh Kanagaraj once again for the much awaited 'Kaithi 2'. The star actor confirmed that the film will take off next year in 2025 at a recent event in Hyderabad.
After the success of Kamal Haasan-starrer 'Vikram' and Vijay-starrer 'Leo', director Lokesh Kanagaraj is currently busy with Rajinikanth-starrer 'Coolie'.With the film gearing up to release early next year, it is anticipated that the maverick director's next film will be 'Kaithi 2'.
Karthi is confident that Kaithi 2 will go on floors by next year. In 'Kaithi', actor Harish Uthaman plays Adaikalam who is in the prison and recognizes Dilli, played by Karthi. It is highly possible that that 'Kaithi 2' will be about what Dilli was doing before going to prison and what's the story between Adaikalam and Dilli.
Interestingly, the fans are also eagerly waiting for the ace director to team up actor Suriya for 'Rolex'.
