Tamil actor Karthi, who was in a promotional event for his upcoming film Tamil film 'Meiyazhagan', which is releasing as 'Sathyam Sundaram' in Telugu, in Hyderabad, was caught in a controversy after he made a funny remark on Laddu'. Tirupati Laddu row is presently the hottest topic in the country and actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan warned actor Karthi for his insensitive remark, where he said 'Laddu is a sensitive topic now'.
After Pawan Kalyan's reaction, actor Karthi took to his social media to immediately apologize. Taking to X, Karthi wrote, "Dear @PawanKalyan sir, with deep respects to you, I apologize for any unintended misunderstanding caused. As a humble devotee of Lord Venkateswara, I always hold our traditions dear. Best regards."
Interestingly, the fans have applauded the star actor's apology and also praised him for his action despite no fault of his as he had just tried to avoid the topic initiated by the anchor of the event.
The film is all set to hit the screens on September 27, 2024. Produced by 2D Entertainment, the film also has Rajkiran, Sri Divya, Jayaprakash and Sarann in important roles. While the film has music by Govind Vasantha, the technical team includes cinematography by Mahendiran Jayaraju and editing by R Govindaraj.
