Karthi & Aditi Shankar's Viruman release preponed?

Actor Karthi's upcoming film is 'Viruman' directed by 'Komban' director Muthaiya. While the film was initially announced to be released on August 31, 2022, the latest buzz is that the film's release might be preponed. With Chiyaan Vikram-starrer 'Cobra' postponing it's release from August 11 to August 31, looks like Karthi's 'Viruman' will be hitting the screens on August 11, 2022.
It is known that director Shankar's daughter, Aditi Shankar, will be making her film debut and will be seen playing the female lead opposite Karthi in the film titled 'Viruman'. Produced by Suriya and Jyotika under their home banner 2D Entertainment, the film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The shooting of the film, which had been shot in regions around Madurai was wrapped recently, and the post-production work for the film is progressing steadily.
Karumathur Manimaran has penned the lyrics for the song 'Kanja Poovu Kannala', while the melodious track is crooned by Sid Sriram. This rural drama will be set in and around south Tamil Nadu, especially Theni, and talk about the importance of family and relationships. Raj Kiran, who was also part of Komban, will be seen in a crucial role. Prakash raj and Soori are also part of the cast.
