Karate Mani's son debuts in "Pramukhar"

JP Alagar, previosly known for directing Captain Vijaykanth's movie 'Sudesi' is now working on the story, direction & screenplay of the movie "Pramukhar". Trishul son of Karate Mani makes his debut in 'Pramukhar' co-produced by S. Manikandan & T.T Suresh via Sri Lakshmi Shanmughanadhan Films & V.J Entertainment.
The movie is based on how the young generation of India lacks seriousness in understanding their political responsibilities and instead while away time in unwanted love affairs and other pleasurable activities, says director JP Alagar.
The movie has been shot in locales like Chennai, Thalakonam, Achchankovil, Kollimalai & Kodaikanal. While shooting is completed, post-production work is still underway. Mohanvel, Karna, Manjva, K.N. Ramchandran, Gyanasekhar, Anu & other supporting actors form a part of this movie.
The team had to go through hardships in the form of heavy rains while shooting in the Kollimalai forest. Director JP Alagar is in all awe for his technicians who stood by him in such a time when the rains were incessant causing more trouble in the form of snakes and other insects. He thankfully called off shooting for the day.
