Kannan to shoot in Sultan Bathery

Director Kannan and his team of Vandhaan Vendraan have packed their bags and set out to shoot in Sultan Bathery, on the Kerala-Karnataka border. Kannan says he will be filming an important romantic sequence there, on a set erected by his art team. ���������We are leaving today for the location and will be shooting there for about seven days.We are planning to return to Chennai on December 4. We will also be a shooting a portion of a romantic duet there. Our next schedule in Kerala will begin on January 1,��������� he says.
Kannan adds that he has split the final schedule of the film to accommodate Jiiva���������s dates. ���������Jiiva will be leaving in December to shoot for Shankar���������s Tamil remake of 3 idiots. So, I will shoot with him for 20 days in both January and February. The final leg of shooting will happen in Mumbai. Vandhaan Vendraan will hit the screens either in March of April. It will be a summer treat for the audience,��������� he smiles.
Meanwhile, the director is also scouting for an actor to play an important role in the film. ���������The character is not that of a regular villain, but will take on Jiiva���������s character in the movie. His character is the backbone of the script. Though I���������ve spoken to Kishore, Daniel Balaji, Nanda and a few others for this role, I���������m yet to confirm anyone. I���������m taking my time because I don���������t want to err while casting for this character,��������� he says.
