Kamal says clown’s cap on Tamils; asks Tamilians to erupt

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, who has hinted at a political entry, has been critical of the ruling AIADMK government. Soon after the two factions of AIADMK merger yesterday, Kamal Haasan took to his micro-blogging page to voice his opinion on the same. Taking a strong dig at the merger, Kamal posted that a clown’s cap has been foisted on the head of Tamils. He also urged Tamilians to erupt and fight for the cause.His translated post read, ““Gandhi hat, Saffron hat, Kashmir hat and now, we Tamilians got a clown hat. Please erupt, Tamizha”.
On the other hand, congratulations poured in for the AIADMK ministers after the merger. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was one of the first to wish O Paneerselvam, who sworn in as deputy chief minister yesterday.
