Because of the Coronavirus outbreak, all the shooting and film production
works
had been halted since March 19. However now, the Tamil Nadu government has allowed filmmakers to begin post-production works with certain restrictions imposed by the government from today onwards. Teams that had been awaiting this decision, immediately got to work and the cinema works have reportedly resumed after 52 days. Now, as per the latest report, works on Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2', that had been suspended since before the lockdown have now resumed, and a few other
films
’ post production works have started as well.
According to reports, here are the films that resumed their work today. The editing work of Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2', which is directed by
Shankar has begun at two separate places. Also, the dubbing works of Vishal's 'Chakra', which is directed by MS Anandan, and
Sibiraj
's 'Kabadadaari', which is directed by
Pradeep Krishnamoorthy, have begun. The graphic works of
Trisha's action thriller 'Raangi' have also started, and few other films are expected to join the list in the coming days.
Meanwhile, FEFSI has released an official list of films that started their works on May 11 and 12 respectively. Vijay's 'Master' and Sivakarthikeyan's 'Doctor' are also on the list and fans are rejoicing after seeing their stars' films on the list. More importantly, it is being said that all these works are being carried with five or lesser people as advised by the government to maintain social distancing.
