Actor Kamal Haasan, began his career as a child artist in the 1960 Tamil film 'Kalathur Kannamma' produced by the popular AVM Productions. The young boy went to act in numerous film after her became a hero in the popular production company in the 80s and 90s. One the most popular films of Kamal Haasan is 'Sakalakala Vallavan' in 1982.
The popular song 'Ilamai Edho Edho' from the film sung by the late SP Balasubrahmanyam, is still played during the New Year. Now, on the occasion of Kamal Haasan's birthday today, AVM Productions has added the Royal Enfield Bullet that is featured in the song to their heritage museum.

Located at the AVM Studios in Vadapalani, the museum was inaugurated by the Chief Minister M K Stalin earlier in May. The AVM heritage museum is the brainchild of AVM Saravanan’s son, MS Guhan. Generally, the museum is open to the public from Wednesday to Monday from 10 am to 5 pm and is closed on Tuesdays and national holidays. The museum is open today on the occasion of Kamal Haasan's birthday today.
