Kamal Haasan has officially filed his nomination for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections. As part of the process, he submitted a detailed affidavit disclosing his assets and liabilities. As per Filmi Beat, the declaration revealed that the actor-turned-politician currently has liabilities amounting to ₹49 crore, drawing public attention. Kamal also mentioned that he holds four commercial buildings in Chennai, including two in Alwarpet and one each in Uthandi and Sholinganallur. He owns agricultural land in Vilpatti, Dindigul valued at ₹22.24 crore and has ₹2.6 lakh in cash.
