Kamal Haasan to join hands with H Vinoth for a political film

Kamal Haasan last delivered the blockbuster action drama 'Vikram', which was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and the film turned out to be one of the biggest hits as it grossed over Rs 400 crores. After a successful run at the box office, Kamal Haasan is building a great lineup of films, and he is set to surprise soon. The latest report suggests that Kamal Haasan will join hands with H Vinoth for a political film.Kamal Haasan has given a nod to a political story from H Vinoth as the latter impressed the expert actor with a solid story. The union of Kamal Haasan and H Vinoth might happen after 'Indian 2' as the former's film with director Mahesh Narayanan needs more time.
Kamal Haasan has been off to the US for official work since he planned to revive 'Indian 2' with director Shankar. The much-awaited film, which has been on hold since March 2020, is to resume operation in September, and the preparation is on. There might be a couple of changes in the film cast as the makers find a replacement for Kajal Aggarwal and late actor Vivek. Kamal Haasan will also be teaming up with director Pa Ranjith for a Madurai-based film, and Lokesh Kanagaraj for the sequel of 'Vikram'.
On the other hand, H Vinoth is currently filming for 'Ajith 61', and the final schedule of the film is to begin soon in Pune.
