Kamal Haasan-starrer ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ not postponed!

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan’s highly anticipated espionage thriller ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ is all set for a massive release tomorrow. However, there were reports suggesting that the makers might push the release date as a mark of respect to the late DMK supremo M Karunanidhi, who passed away on Tuesday evening due to prolonged illness.
Now, the makers have released a fresh set of posters, clarifying that ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ will release as per the plan.A sequel to the blockbuster 2013 film of the same name, ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ has already gotten very good response in the advance booking status. In fact, the makers are releasing the film in places like Australia, France, New Zealand and America. Reports also say that the premiere show of ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ will happen later in the day.
Interestingly, ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ will be screened at the prestigious Le Grand Rex in Paris. Directed by Kamal Haasan, ‘Vishwaroopam 2’, features Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Shekhar Kapur, Rahul Bose and Jaideep Ahlawat in pivotal roles. Set in India, the sequel will see Kamal Haasan returning as the RAW Agent Wisam Ahmed Kashmiri.
Produced by Raaj Kamal Films International and Aascar Films, ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ has music by M Ghibran, who is working with Haasan for the fourth time.
