Kamal Haasan remembers Sivaji Ganesan on his birth anniversary

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan remembered thespian Sivaji Ganesan on his 97th birth anniversary today. Veteran actor Sivaji Ganeshan passed away on July 21, 2001 at the age of 74 after suffering from respiratory problems. The demise of Sivaji Ganesan shocked the whole of Indian cinema.
Kamal Haasan took to his social networking page remembering the legendary actor and wrote in Tamil, which translates to, "Times may change, technology may increase, and the face of cinema itself may be destined for change. But the contribution of Sivaji sir, the great artist who showed us what the pinnacle of acting looks like, is unforgettable. Happy birthday to someone who has achieved amazing feats."

It is well known that Kamal Haasan considered Sivaji and director K Balachander his teachers and learnt all the nuances of cinema from the best in the business. He has also never missed a chances to express his fondness for the legendary actor.
