The film will be bilingual, releasing in Tamil and Telugu, with the Telugu version yet to be titled. Satyadev Kancharana is set to play the lead role in the Telugu version. The shooting for both languages will occur simultaneously, featuring different casts.

Talking to us, director Hariharan reveals, “The film is set 50 years ago, and so, there is also a challenge of authentically portraying that era. To capture the reality, we are collecting original props from that time. The first schedule is planned in Kerala, followed by shoots in Chennai and parts of Andhra Pradesh.”

When questioned about selecting Kalidas, he says, “Kali was the perfect choice for this film. I was searching for the origin of a character, someone young without preconceived notions about the role. This will be a new and challenging experience for him.”

The film also stars Prabhu, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Deepak Paramesh, and Vivek Prasanna in important roles. The cinematography is done by Mukessh Gnanesh, the music is scored by Vivek Mervin, the editing is done by Bhuvan Srinivasan and the debut art director is Krishna.
