'Kalavani 2': Makers give a sneak peak about the second instalment

The first instalment of Vemal and Oviya starrer 'Kalavani' released in the year 2010 sleeper hit which later went on to be commercially successful and critically acclaimed for its nativity and humour. The makers are now comping up the sequel of the film titled as 'Kalavani 2'.Recently a video song 'Ottaram Pannadha' was released. Now the makers have released a new sneak peek video featuring Vemal, Ilavarasu and Saranya in a comedy scene in which a person comes to meet AMR (Vemal)Sarkunam had written as well as directed the first part and now he is also helming the sequel 'Kalavani-2'. The film will also see Vemal and Oviya along with Saranya Ponvannan, Ilavarasu, Ganja Karuppu reprising their roles from the prequel.'Kalavani 2' had a legal scuffle due to money Vemal owes to Dhanalakshmi films, and the actor took the step to resolve the issue, following which the stay and issues on the release were removed. After many hurdles, the film has finally hit the screens today July 5.Director Sarkunam has also produced the film under the banner Varmans Productions. The film also stars RJ Vigneshkanth in a supporting role. The film has music jointly composed by Mani Amudhavan, V2, V Ronald Reagan and background score by Natarajan.
