Kajal to play the lead in a fantasy horror comedy

It looks like the recently married Kajal Aggarwal is keen on continuing her acting career. Only earlier this week, we had told you that the actress will be teaming up with director Deekay for a multi-heroine horror film. Now, the Indian 2 actress has signed on another

The film, titled

, will be directed by Kalyaan, who previously made the Jyotika-starrer Jackpot and Gulebhagavali, with Prabhudheva. “This will be a heroine-oriented fantasy horror comedy. It is the first film Kajal has signed post her marriage,”says the source, adding that the film will have a huge set of a supporting cast. “The makers have almost 23-24 comedians in the film, including Yogi Babu, Mottai Rajendran, Urvashi, Sriman, Devadarshini, and Tony (of Kolamaavu Kokila fame). We are also planning to rope in a leading hero to play a guest role,” reveals the source.

On the technical front, Kalyaan’s Jackpot team — cinematographer RS Anandakumar and editor Vijay Velukutty — will be part of it. The team is planning to rope in Vivek-Mervin, the composing duo who worked with the director in Gulebhagavali, to do the music. The shoot of the film will begin next month in Chennai.
