Kajal Aggarwal will be playing a key role in
Indian 2
, which sees the teaming up of
Kamal Haasan and Shankar for the second time. While there has been speculation about her involvement in the film for the past few days, the actress confirmed it at the audio launch of her upcoming Telugu film Kavacham in Hyderabad, though she refrained from mentioning the title of the film. “I’m doing one more film with Sai (her Kavacham co-star Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas). I also have a film with Kamal Haasan sir,” the actress revealed.
Meanwhile, a source tells us that
Kajal had recently gone to the US in connection with her role in Kamal’s film. “Kajal had gone for makeup tests as her look in the film will involve prosthetic makeup,” the source informs.
The much-awaited sequel to Indian was announced by the production house on Kamal’s birthday, on November 7, and art director T Muthuraj kick-started set work for the film on November 12. A few days ago, a photoshoot for the film was done with Kamal Haasan. The buzz is that the film will go on floors on December 14.
