It’s a well-known fact that actress
Jyothika is presently shooting for the forthcoming comedy ‘Kaatrin Mozhi’, a remake of the Bollywood superhit film ‘Tumhari Sulu’ that starred
Vidya Balan in the lead. While the shoot is proceeding at a breakneck speed, some interesting news has cropped up online.
As per the latest buzz, Simbu will reportedly make a guest appearance in ‘Kaatrin Mozhi’. Sharing the photo of Simbu on the sets, producer Dhananjayan said, “So happy & thankful to #STR sir for his special & important appearance in #KaatrinMozhi... entire cast & crew had a superb time shooting with him. The scenes are going to be very interesting in the film.”
On the other hand, Simbu posed for a selfie along with Suriya and Jyothika, and the pictures have gone viral on social media. Interestingly, Simbu will be sharing screen space with Jyothika in the upcoming multi-starrer project ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’.
To be directed by
Radha Mohan, the Tamil version will see Jyothika reprising Vidya’s role of a homemaker-turned-RJ, Sulu. Produced by Dhananjayan Govind's BOFTA Media Works, Vidharth has been roped in to play Jyothika’s husband in the film. Telugu actress-host
Lakshmi Manchu will also play a pivotal role. If reports are to be believed, ‘Kaatrin Mozhi’ is expected to release by the second half of 2018.
