Kaatrin Mozhi, the comedy drama starring
Jyotika and directed by
Radha Mohan, has been chosen to be screen at the Dubai Expo, which is considered to be the largest trade fair in the world. Almost every major country in the world is taking part in this expo, in which they showcase their nation's industries, culture and cinema.
As part of promoting Indian cinema, The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry Ladies Organisation (FICCI FLO) is organising a women-centric film festival that will be held on January 18-19, 2022 at the India Pavillion at the Dubai Expo.
It is for this festival that Kaatrin Mozhi has been chosen.
"We are glad the film has been selected for screening at the women-centric films at the Dubai Expo," wrote G Dhananjayan, the producer of the film.
Kaatrin Mozhi, which released in November 2018, was a remake of the 2017 Bollywood film Tumhari Sulu, starring
Vidya Balan in the lead role. The feel-good film also had Vidaarth, Lakshmi Manchu, Elango Kumaravel and Mohan Raman in supporting roles, and was well received by both the audiences and critics at the time of its release.
